RIO - Venetian terrazzo coffee table
- Design by Alessandra Covini
- Venetian-style terrazzo table in pigmented cement and hand-set marble grit
- Base in patinated brass or polished copper finish
The Venetian terrazzo, a symbol of a past era, is coming back in style with the RIO coffee table.
This refined type of flooring, a staple of the Renaissance, is reinterpreted and reimagined inside a context that elevates it from its natural role and transforms it into the top of a coffee table. The material, obtained by mixing marble and concrete, is designed as if it were a floor section pulled from the ground and placed on a solid brass base, like a precious geological fragment.
